Lol, prepare yourself for my wicked-long explanation of doom.
The one on the left is named Guess, and he used to work in Hell as a book keeper (holder of information). The one on the right is Zink. Zink can't quite recollect his past because of some sort of amnesia trouble he got when messing with a few electronics and shocked himself. A friend of Zink's is a Deity named Tutu (though he prefers to be called "Joe"). Anyway, Joe got in touch with Dream (the sandman), who got a hold of some other guy in Hell, who then went to Guess to research the species. But Guess is the same species, so he went to Joe personally to help teach Zink a few things about their heritage.
Guess never said what their breed is called, but he did say that their eyes change every great while according to their overall emotions. And the younger this species is, the more often their eyes will change shape or color. Zink knew his eyes changed every month or so and it bothered him to see this change, especially when normal humans don’t go through the same thing. So to hide his eyes Zink always wears goggles. He’d also hide his tail by wrapping it around his leg and keeping it in his pants whenever he went out. He’s found himself to be quite “geeky” and “ugly” compared to the people around him.
Guess, however, feels a tinge of jealousy as he teaches Zink more about their people. Apparently in their “currently un-named” species, it’s the taller and lankier ones that look the most beautiful. Longer ears are also seen as a sign of elegance, along with flexible tails. And the oddly colored hair is represents the atmosphere they grew up in and may or may not be subject to change after grater periods of time (hundreds of years). Guess has grown in dark places like the red shadows of Hell. Where Zink could originally be from a colder and brighter planet like Betelgeuse.
Oh yes! And one more thing Guess mentioned was that their species tends to be like “geeks” in that they find something they like and then delve into it almost obsessively “as a collector does”. Guess has been working with books, writings and storing information in Hell most of his life, so I believe that’s his “thing”. But Zink has found his attraction to computers (along with terrible 80s slang
Pffft. Okay, long explanation over. So is your Ian anything like that?

"Death is a transformation, not an end."
Me thinks I'd get along well with Zink! XD ....Er...dunno about the 80's slang part though. o___o I say death to the 80's.....the world would be a better place if they never existed....U__U
Guess sounds amusing as well though...someone I could probably nerd out with. XD Books are my loooooves.
Lol...oi..Ian's a bit different. XD He's a dryad so despite his social nature, he doesn't much like being indoors or around large amounts of people. I guess that's probably understandable for a 20ft tree man though. He's a druid technician...so...basically he's a wizard who works on the spell-enhanced organic machinery that helps power the cities in my world Regalia. But that would take WAY too long to explain here XD
